No matter who you voted for, we now have a new President-Elect. No matter if you like him or not, he is going to be the leader of our country. We need to pray for him. May God guide his every move. May God take our country where He wants it to go. May God Bless our nation. Obama has a great chance to lead. He will have a Democratic Congress behind him. He will have a "blank check". There is no one to oppose him. May he lead well and not take advantage of his position. I really hope that he will keep his promise of last night; to listen especially if you have a different point of view.
On a bitter note.....I am the first to say, watch our taxes rise significantly over the next four years. There is no way Obama can fund all his programs, and not raise taxes, for everyone. Our poor military. I hope they will come home in victory. I hope Obama will take care of them.
